Software Engineer
CyberArk is a global leader in identity security, and they are seeking a Software Engineer to join their Machine Identity Security team. In this role, you will build and support scalable backend services that power certificate lifecycle management and secure machine identity at scale. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the Machine Identity Security platform Contribute to building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications Work on distributed systems supporting multi-tenant, high-availability environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and infrastructure Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across backend services Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation efforts Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability Skills Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field 1β3 years of professional experience (including internships or co-ops) in software development Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems concepts Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment This role requires the application of specialized knowledge in software engineering, distributed systems, and cloud computing typically obtained through a bachelor's degree in a related technical field Experience with backend development using Java (preferred) or Go Exposure to CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), or Kubernetes is a plus Familiarity with authentication or security concepts (SAML, OAuth, etc.) is a plus Benefits Medical Dental Vision Financial Other benefits Company Overview CyberArk is a security company that applies intelligent privilege controls to every identity across the identity lifecycle.
