OnTrac is hiring a Software Developer. The Software Developer position is responsible for the research, design, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance of internal and external applications. Responsibilities
Ā Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications.

Ā Work with end users to determine requirements.

Ā Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects.
,
Ā Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
,
Ā Research and document requirements of software users.
,
Ā Act as a lead on software development projects with other developers.
,
Ā Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
,
Ā Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
,
Ā Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to project and development specifications.
,
Ā Monitor software performance of new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
,
Ā Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
,
Ā Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
,
Ā Work with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
,
Ā Perform code reviews and other software QA for other developers.
Requirements
Ā College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or software engineering, and/or 2+ years equivalent work experience.

Ā Working technical knowledge of Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, Angular, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress.
,
Ā Hands-on experience working in integrated development environments.
,
Ā Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and data structures.
,
Ā Hands-on software troubleshooting experience.
,
Ā Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
,
Ā Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle.
