Job DescriptionFocus on the design, development, delivery, and support of laboratory applications such as LIMS, ELNs and other related applications. Work on new product development tasks designed to enable further digitalization of the Company’s laboratories for scale. Work on full MEAN stack development projects using old and new versions of Angular J, Java script, Mongo DB, MSSQL, Html, CSS, .Net, C#, ASP.Net in an Agile environment. Actively develop and support cloud-based applications utilizing services such as AWS, Digital Ocean and Microsoft Azure for application hosting and deployment. Work on multiple aspects of the software development life cycle including functional requirements, software design, implementation, deployment, testing and customer support. Work within a team and take responsibility for code quality and team code reviews. Refactor existing code to improve its quality, extensibility, and maintainability. Partner with other developers within a fast-paced environment to build solutions in line with business objectives. Provide regular support for mobile apps on the IOS and Android platforms. Serve as a coach or mentor to more junior team members. Respond with flexibility and collaboration to the needs of the business—both internally and externally—by addressing important corporate initiatives as required or requested by management.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any engineering/developer related job titles. Applicants must possess at least 2 years of experience in the following: (1) development of features related to project life cycle in NGS LIMS (Next Gen Sequencing- Laboratory Information Management System) and client portal developing features including flow cell creation, project performance management, new step and method implementation; (2) system design and architecture for NGS LIMS and Database server; (3) Angular JS Web development including implementing new libraries and upgrading Angular JS versions; (4) Java for developing code pipeline bioinformatics script on the supercomputer HiperGator; (5) writing code in JavaScript and Typescript to developing features for NGS LIMS application; (6) MongoDB to fetch data and scale applications; (7) Cyber Security including building systems to address system vulnerabilities for database security configuration creation and proper coding of encryption of user data; and (8) database design on MongoDB to support the scalability of product. Telecommuting Permitted. The typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: $89,690Maximum: $111,625This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position.
