Software Architect (.Net, AWS)

As an Architect you will define and maintain the technical vision, and help the teams deliver new features and capabilities to several of our SaaS products in our Power division. You can learn more about NEOGOV’s Power products here: • Define and maintain the overall vision & strategic direction for projects and architecture within our Public Safety suite of products • Stay ahead of the latest technology trends and best practices to incorporate innovation into the company’s products • Ensure the SaaS platform is optimized for performance and scalability, addressing any bottlenecks and ensuring the system can handle growth in users and data • Advocate for and implement automation in the development and testing processes to enhance efficiency • Mentor and guide Leads, senior developers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement • Create and maintain technical roadmaps for the software architecture, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives and IT strategy • Design and implement architectures and technologies with security at the forefront, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards such as FedRAMP • Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills • Experienced in applying GenAI tools, frameworks and techniques to enhance SDLC workflows and drive innovation. • Empathetic and have a growth mindset with a desire to learn and embrace challenges • Innovative and passionate about your work • Mentor with interest to help others on the team What You Have • 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect in a SaaS company • Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, SQL, Javascript, AWS(preferred) or any cloud • Expertise in Angular, PostgreSQL and Terraform are a plus • Experience in Data analytics, Data Warehousing are a plus, Looker/AWS/Python script are preferred • Experience with Microservices, Message, Queuing, AWS Event Bridge/Lambda are preferred • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience • Competitive Wages • Full Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) for full-time employees • Generous PTO to support work-life balance • 401K/RRSP Matching • Paid Parental Leave • Autonomy to grow and find your career path with supportive leadership • Remote working opportunities • Inclusive and diverse work environment NEOGOV does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factors. #LI-REMOTE Apply tot his job
