Qualifications
Licensure: Valid LICSW or LCSW in Maryland (must maintain throughout employment).
Experience: Minimum 2+ years providing diagnostic assessments and therapy for clients from youth through adulthood.
Skills & Competencies:
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and client-focused attitude.
• Capable of establishing effective therapeutic relationships.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to staying current on treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements.
Responsibilities
• Build trusting and therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Provide regular counseling sessions and evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct ongoing progress assessments.
• Collaborate with families, when appropriate, to support client care.
• Refer clients to external specialists or resources when necessary.
• Maintain thorough, confidential client records.
• Follow agency safety protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Respond to client emergencies per agency policies.
• Maintain all required licenses and professional liability insurance.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
