Social Media Specialist (Remote : Orlando Area) Salary Range : $35 - $40K plus Benefits

Position SummaryWe are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our remote team. This individual will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring our social media content to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster community growth across all platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of social media trends, and experience with content creation, analytics, and community management.Key Responsibilities Content Strategy and Creation: Develop, create, and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok) that aligns with brand guidelines and goals.Social Media Management Oversee day-to-day management of social media accounts, including responding to comments, engaging with followers, and ensuring brand consistency.Analytics and Reporting Track and analyze social media metrics and KPIs to assess the performance of campaigns and adjust strategies; accordingly, provide regular reports on growth, engagement, and other relevant insights.Community Engagement Build and foster a vibrant community by responding to followers, encouraging conversation, and addressing questions or concerns in a timely, positive manner.Trend Monitoring and Adaptation Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices; proactively incorporate them into the social media strategy to keep our content fresh and engaging.Collaboration Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to coordinate content themes, campaigns, and initiatives; contribute ideas for cross-channel marketing campaigns.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 2 years proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.Preferred Skills- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro).- Experience with paid social media advertising.- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google AdWords.Benefits- Flexible, remote work environment (Orlando area)- Professional development opportunities- Paid time off and holidaysJob Type: Full-timePay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayLocation:Orlando, FL 32825 (Required)Work Location: Remote
