Be part of a dynamic team driving ESPN's position as the No. 1 social brand in sports media.Job SummaryYou will join a group of creative and nimble colleagues whose roles and responsibilities are constantly evolving.Main Responsibilities
Effectively solve critical issues to avoid operational gaps and ensure team productivity.
Collaborate with production coordinator to publish team schedules on time and handle last-minute changes due to the sports calendar.
Support hiring, onboarding, and offboarding for all social team employees: facilitate recruiting efforts, order equipment, provide access to tools and programs.
Assist with internal social team communications: meeting agendas and recaps, company events, project timelines, etc.
Raise awareness about various projects across multiple months-long timelines, including ESPN's influencer program (ESPN Creator Network) and large-scale departmental team meetings, ensuring seamless execution on all deliverables and deadlines.
Lead maintenance and auditing of all social platforms, verifying that all profiles and settings are set up in line with protocols.
Support managing relationships with various agencies, vendors, and platform partners (Meta, TikTok, X) that the social team maintains to do its work.
Maintain a strong knowledge of social industry trends and stay updated on tech advancements relevant to the business.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in social media, digital media, project management, operations, or a related field.
Strong work ethic with a desire to work both on a team and independently.
Excellent verbal/written communication and project management skills, highly organized and proactive.
Ability to work quickly and juggle multiple tasks during a typical workday.
Solid understanding of the sports landscape, including current athletes, rules, events, and ESPN Programming.
