Social Media Manager and Content Creator
Social Media & Content Manager – Mr. Goods NYC Job Summary Mr. Goods NYC is a fast-growing luxury resale boutique in downtown Manhattan, specializing in designer handbags, jewelry, and accessories. We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media & Content Manager to grow our online presence, drive traffic to our Whatnot live shows, and build strong engagement across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in social media strategy and content creation, but also understands luxury fashion culture, resale communities, and live-selling platforms. Responsibilities • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and live show attendance • Create, edit, and publish engaging content (Reels, TikToks, Stories, YouTube Shorts) highlighting our inventory & live auctions • Design flyers, thumbnails, and branded graphics (Canva, Adobe Suite, or CapCut) • Promote upcoming Whatnot shows across platforms and create hype before/during/after events • Monitor trends in resale, luxury fashion, and social commerce (IG/TikTok/Whatnot) • Engage with followers and customers through comments, DMs, and community interaction • Track and report performance metrics (followers, engagement, clicks, sales impact) • Collaborate with the sales team to align promotions with inventory drops Qualifications • Proven experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube preferred) • Strong content creation skills (short-form video, photography, graphic design) • Familiarity with luxury fashion/resale or strong interest in designer brands • Experience with editing tools: CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) • Knowledge of social media analytics tools and best practices • Excellent storytelling and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Bonus: Experience with Whatnot, live selling, or e-commerce marketing Why Join Us? • Be part of a growing NYC luxury boutique with a strong online presence • Opportunity to shape the brand’s digital voice & grow a loyal community • Competitive pay (hourly or salary depending on experience) • Flexible schedule — part-time or full-time options available Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Work Location: In person Apply tot his job
