Social Media Growth Strategist and Content Planner

We’re looking for a Social Media Growth Strategist & Content Planner to take ownership of how Tucann grows and shows up across social platforms. This role goes far beyond scheduling posts. You’ll be actively involved in building and executing strategies that INCREASE reach, engagement, community, and brand exposure across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You’ll work with in house creatives who supply all content. Your role is to turn that content into growth. This is a strategy + execution role for someone who understands how to grow social accounts through interaction, experimentation, and community-building, not just posting consistently. What You’ll Be Responsible For Growth Strategy & Experimentation Develop and execute platform specific growth strategies to increase reach, engagement, and followers Plan and run growth experiments (e.g. trial reels, polls, ect) Identify trends, formats, and content patterns that perform and scale them Use insights and performance data to iterate strategy weekly Content Planning & Distribution Plan and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook using in house creative assets Own the content calendar and posting cadence across platforms Optimise captions, posting times, hashtags, and formats for performance Ensure content is rolled out strategically (e.g. teaser → launch → follow-up) Community & Interaction Manage and grow Tucann’s Instagram Broadcast Channel Manage and nurture our Facebook Community Group Create and run interactive content (polls, questions, story prompts, engagement stickers) Actively engage with comments, DMs, and community prompts to build connection Use ManyChat flows and broadcasts to drive engagement and participation (not spam) Platform Features & Tools Set up and manage ManyChat flows for engagement, lead capture, and content interaction Build interactive Story sequences (polls, quizzes, sliders, questions) Help plan social campaigns that use interactivity as a growth lever Work with the team to build social-first funnels that turn attention into community Reporting & Optimisation Track key metrics (reach, saves, shares, profile visits, follower growth, engagement rate) Provide weekly insights and growth recommendations Identify what’s working, what’s not, and what to test next Collaborate with the wider team to refine content direction based on performance
