As our Social Media Assistant, you will amplify LEARN’s mission by creating engaging, on-brand content that builds community, sparks conversation, and connects families nationwide. You will collaborate with our Content, Digital, and Design teams to support social media and content marketing efforts, including writing, scheduling, and posting across platforms. This role also supports new center launches, Learning Center events, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. You’ll join a small team of marketing professionals who work quickly, think creatively, and care about what we do. Together, we’re helping LEARN grow in 2026 and beyond. This contract-to-hire role starts at 30 hours a week, with the chance to become a full-time, benefits-eligible position within three months. Candidates must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zones. This should focus on your ability to write short-form copy, understand target audiences, and stay up to date with the latest social media trends.

Responsibilities:
Create and schedule social media content that’s engaging, thoughtful, and mission-alignedFoster a positive, supportive online community by engaging thoughtfullyTrack performance and assist with basic analytics to help inform content decisionsCollaborate in a fast-paced environment across marketing and internal departmentsEnsure all content follows brand, compliance, and safety guidelinesAssist team leaders with administrative tasks, as needed

Qualifications:
Required experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience2+ years of experience writing and managing social media contentExcellent writing skills (grammar, tone, flow)Comfortable managing Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedInExperience with social media scheduling or management toolsAbility to stay on brand while communicating with warmth and professionalismStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelReliable computer/tablet and internet connectionPreferred experience: Experience with TikTok or PinterestBackground in behavioral health, autism, special education, or related fieldsVolunteer or work experience with community-based or special needs organizationsFamiliarity with project management tools like Monday.com and design tools like CanvaExperience writing in AP or Chicago style LEARN Behavioral is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
