We are looking for a Social Media and Outreach Specialist with strong communication skills and a passion for engaging with online communities. This remote, part-time role involves managing social media campaigns, building connections with our audience, and crafting outreach messages. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and understands how to connect deeply with various groups and online communities.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Campaigns:

Develop, execute, and monitor social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
Engage with audiences through comments, chats, and direct messages to foster community and respond to inquiries.

Outreach and Communications:

Craft compelling outreach emails and handle occasional phone communications.
Connect with groups and communities to understand and respond to their interests.

Content Creation:

Create visuals and social media posts using tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data tracking, reports, and presentations.

Analytics and Strategy:

Track social media metrics and use insights to adjust strategies.
Utilize analytics tools to enhance engagement and content performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in social media management and outreach to educational audiences, including parents, teachers, schools, and students.
Familiarity with basic analytics and social media tools.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency with Canva or Photoshop for content creation.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Competency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for tracking and presentation.
Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity.

Technical Requirements:

Reliable, high-speed internet for Zoom meetings and outreaches.

Additional Language Skills (Preferred):

Proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus, as it can enhance outreach to a broader community.
