SOC Logic Design Engineer

This role involves designing, coding, and simulating the logic architecture of complex SoC components, contributing to Intel's mission of delivering high-performance technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop logic designs and register transfer level (RTL) coding for SoC designsIntegrate logic for IP blocks and subsystems into full-chip SoC or discrete component designsDefine architecture and microarchitecture features for the block being designedPerform quality checks across RTL, timing, and power convergence aspectsOptimize logic designs to meet power, performance, area, and timing objectivesReview verification plans and implement corrective measures for failing RTL testsApply secure development practices to address security threat models and objectives within the designCollaborate with IP providers to integrate and validate IPs at the SoC levelDrive quality assurance compliance for seamless IP-SoC handoffSkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar programming languagesStrong understanding of System Verilog and Verilog for RTL designKnowledge of digital design fundamentals and logic design principlesExperience with hardware design and debugging microarchitecture/simulationMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience in UPF coding for power managementProven expertise in integrating and validating IP components within SoC designsKnowledge of implementing physical connectivity and testing/verification methodologiesDemonstrated ability to ensure design integrity for physical implementationBenefitsCompetitive payStock bonusesHealthRetirementVacationCompany OverviewOur mission is to shape the future of technology to help create a better future for the entire world, thatβs the power of Intel Inside.
