Snowflake Data Engineer-India

Main responsibilities: Three to Five years of experience. Technical expertise, Business process knowledge- Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes- Develop the data models in Snowflake, DBT and understanding of GITHUB- Review program codes and suggest correction in case of errors- Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes- Monitor and setup the jobs in test / sandbox systems for testing- Making sure the correct test data is arranged for checking on reportsRequired qualifications- Exposure building Data Warehouse and Data Lakes in Snowflake - Fair knowledge of DBT, Airflow & Github- Fair knowledge of programming languages like SQL and advanced SQL- Programming languages (Python), SQL Queries- Experience with Data Flow, Data Pipeline and workflow management tools in cloud environments - GCP, Snowflake- SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and find opportunities for improvement- High level of comfort with large sets of internal and external data and attend to details and penchant for accuracy- Experience supporting and working with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environmentPreferred qualificationsProven grasp of consumer packaged goods industry- Understanding of Client's processes, and tools supporting analytics- Willingness and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques
