We're looking for a skilled individual to join our innovative team and drive the development of our next-generation data solutions.In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, building, and optimising robust data pipelines, mastering advanced SQL and Python for sophisticated data transformations. Your expertise with data ingestion, ETL, and data orchestration tools will be key, and your specific experience with Snowflake will be highly valued as we leverage its power for efficient storage, processing, and analytics.If you're eager to solve complex data challenges, continuously learn and adapt to new technologies within the dynamic GCP and Snowflake ecosystem, and collaborate with a forward-thinking team, this is your chance to make a substantial impact!Responsibilities:Implement Snowflake Data Lakehouse: Implement data workflows, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large datasets within Snowflake data lakehouse environmentDesign and Build Data Pipelines: Develop data pipelines, handling both batch and real-time data ingestion and transformationOptimise Performance: Implement tailored strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficient querying within Snowflake. ImplementEnsure Data Governance and Security: Implement robust data governance, including role-based access controls, data masking/encryption, and other security measuresRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on GCP cloud data services and Snowflake data lakehouse solutions.Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in scripting languages like Python for data processing and automation, alongside experience with data orchestration and ETL development.Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka, is a plus.Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex data workflows.Solid communication and documentation skills, with an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices in data engineering."Please note: As Casumo is an international company and English is our working language, we kindly ask you to submit your CV in English."The Perks:Being a part of the Casumo group provides an unparalleled experience.
