Pay Rate:$100.00 Hourly OTCA (Based on experience) - Active Secret with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrollment Required Experience: 5+ Years of Recent CATIA V5 5+ Years of each of the following: Airframe structures design, MRB support and Structural modification experience. Designs, develops, and tests a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. - Establishes structural specifications, performs basic stress analysis, and conducts performance tests. Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. Develops basic data and makes preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present design proposal. Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost. Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development. Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products. Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning. Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers. Supports MRB activity with design related needs. Develops practical solutions to a range of complex problems. - Works under general direction and participates in determining assignment objectives. - Work is done independently and is reviewed at critical points.
