Site Reliability Engineer - Interface & Connectivity

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and improving the Azure-based SaaS platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for client environments.ResponsibilitiesDeploy and support secure external connectivity solutions between the SaaS platform, clients, and third-party vendorsConfigure and maintain Azure networking components such as Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Security Groups (ASGs), VNet Peerings, Private Links, and VPN connectionsAssist in client onboarding by supporting VPN setup, IP whitelisting, firewall rule implementation, and connectivity validationMonitor connectivity services and network components using Azure Monitor and related observability toolsCoordinate routine maintenance activities, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, and security updates for connectivity servicesParticipate in incident response, troubleshooting, and change management related to network and interface connectivitySupport certificate lifecycle management and ensure secure communication protocols are maintainedImplement and maintain firewall configurations in alignment with security standardsMaintain accurate network diagrams, connectivity documentation, and operational runbooksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and secure communication channels across environmentsContribute to operational reviews and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint-based deliverySkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related fieldExposure in Microsoft Azure, automation, and cloud operationsA self-motivated, collaborative mindset and clear communication skillsWillingness to learn, grow, and contribute to shared team outcomesAlignment with SimCorp's values: Caring, Customer Success Driven, Collaboration, Curious, CourageousSome practical exposure to cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure topics through coursework, internships, or side projectsFamiliarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and version control (Git) – good to haveAwareness of monitoring, basic networking, or incident response is a plusBenefitsAnnual discretionary bonusHealth and dental careTime offGroup RRSP/TFSACompany OverviewSimCorp is a provider of investment management software solutions and services for the global financial industry.
