Pismo’s cloud-based platform empowers firms to build and launch financial products rapidly, scaling as they grow to have a broader audience while keeping high security and availability standards.Pismo’s 500+ employees are located in more than 10 countries around the world.Job DescriptionSummaryThis person will join the DevOps squad, supporting the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation, always with guidance from more experienced engineers.Their role is to contribute to technical decisions by considering factors such as stability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and business needs, while focusing on continuous learning and development.They will also be responsible for helping maintain platform resilience, adopting new technologies under supervision, and participating in relevant technical initiatives.What you’ll doTechnical Support in CI/CD and AutomationAssist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Help create and update IaC scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management.Follow best practices in IaC to ensure consistency and compliance.Collaborate on automating routine operational tasks.Support the team in deployment, scaling, and maintenance processes.Technical ContributionsContribute technically to team tasks, always seeking to learn.Participate in the creation of documentation and internal post-mortemsFollow coding standards and best practices defined by the team.Help promote best practices in CI/CD and automation.Mentorship and LearningActively seek guidance from more experienced engineers.Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback.Support colleagues with basic technical questions.Platform ResilienceHelp avoid unplanned or uncommunicated changes.Demonstrate commitment and responsibility.Consultation and Problem-SolvingSupport engineers from other squads with simple questions.Participate in problem-solving under supervision.Technology TrendsStay updated on trends in CI/CD and automation.Share relevant learnings with the team.Proof of Concept (POC) ExecutionAssist in executing POCs for new technologies, always with supervision.Squad SummaryThe DevOps squad is responsible for implementing and optimizing the Pismo CI/CD Platform, automating infrastructure provisioning, and improving operational tasks using best practices in CI/CD and IaC. The team stays updated with technology trends, executes POCs, and seeks continuous improvement.This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location.
