About the position
The Single Family Fraud Investigations Senior role at Freddie Mac involves conducting mortgage fraud investigations to manage Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risks effectively. Responsibilities
Perform fraud tip research to identify suspicious activity.

Conduct end-to-end fraud investigations, including mortgage loan file reviews and interviews.

Document findings and conclusions clearly and concisely.

Maintain cycle times for completing investigations.

Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) in accordance with FinCEN requirements.

Design fraud analytics using mortgage loan data to identify patterns and trends.
,
Analyze mortgage loan portfolio and emerging trends for possible fraud scenarios.
,
Execute internal controls related to fraud investigations.
,
Provide complete and accurate investigation data for fraud reporting.
Requirements
AML/Fraud related certification preferred.

Typically has 5+ years' experience in conducting fraud investigations; mortgage fraud experience highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience and expertise in FinCEN reporting requirements.
,
Experience with industry practices for preventive fraud mitigation and technological solutions.
,
Strong analytical skills for research and analysis beyond on-field investigations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in written communication.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and propose solutions.
