We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including physical security, security system integration, consultation, and secure transport. We cater to various industries such as cannabis, commercial real estate, construction, data centers, and more. Our leadership team comprises professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, military, and business sectors. Silver Star Protection Group is dedicated to delivering customized security solutions to meet diverse client needs. Position Overview The Director of Operations (DO) is responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day operations of client sites within a designated geographical area. This leadership role involves overseeing staffing, client management, training, licensing, compliance, and ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, clients, and property. The DO plays a key role in strategic planning, ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining positive client relationships, and adapting measures to meet evolving risks and regulations. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery and operational efficiency. Lead, manage, and supervise SSPG personnel, ensuring proper staffing levels, performance monitoring, and addressing staff issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with services. Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for SSPG personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform effectively. Work with our compliance coordinator to ensure all SSPG personnel are properly licensed and trained. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and mitigate risks, while developing and implementing strategies to address potential threats. Lead and motivate SSPG teams to deliver high-quality service, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members. Maintain detailed records of operations, incidents, staffing, and compliance, providing reports to senior leadership as needed. Regularly review and update policies and procedures to meet changing needs and current regulations. Requirements Proven experience in operations management preferably within a leadership or director role. In-depth knowledge of protocols, risk management, and compliance standards. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive results and ensure high levels of performance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically under pressure. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and regulations in a dynamic work environment. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related Regional (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience n security operations management or related Regionals, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Certification or training in security management or risk assessment is a plus. Schedule and Availability Directors design a schedule that works for them and ensures smooth operations. By law, all employees have at least 24 hours of rest within every consecutive 7-day period. Shifts, site assignments, and schedules are subject to change based on client and SSPG needs. Flexibility is required when emergency coverage is needed.
