Sign Program Project Manager - National Accounts (Remote)

Job Summary: Are you a commercial sign and branding industry professional supporting national account programs? The National Sign Program Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver larger and more complex commercial sign and branding projects. This person would manage resources, schedules and financials throughout the project life cycle as well as collaborate with other departments regarding issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. A major part of this role would be contributing to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The National Sign Program Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. They would verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost to achieve them. Duties and Expectations: The National Sign Program Project Manager is expected to own and manage the full project life cycle, from handoff and scope of work discussion through billing. You will be expected to manage a minimum of $1.5 million annually (closed and billed jobs). A successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor programs simultaneously in the following categories and competencies: CUSTOMER INTERACTION & COMMUNICATIONCreate and maintain comprehensive project / program documentationMeet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project to develop the appropriate scope of work per client's vision and brand standardsManages the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholdersProvide frequent status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, and communicating across leadership.PROJECT EXECUTION Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chair the project management team meetings for the assigned account (s)Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, sharing the plan with clients as well as other internal and external staff membersDelegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levelsMeasure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniquesAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityEstablish, coordinate and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projectsProactively report and escalate to management as neededEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budgetManage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution BUDGET MANAGEMENTPrepare project budget proposals and detailed project plan for all phases of the projectMeet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysisPerform risk management to minimize potential risksManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniquesCONTINUOUS TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENTTrack project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goalsParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organizationWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellenceManage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of businessAttend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiencyPerform other related duties as assignedEducation, Experience, and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business, construction, manufacturing or relatable industry5+ years of experience in construction, sign or branding project management, including tracking and planning projects preferablyExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalExperience negotiating vendor contractsAbility to help others and solve problems on ownStrong ability to build successful relationships with clients leading to long-term businessAble to plan and organize workflow, following established processes to get the work doneGeneral knowledge of blueprint reading skillsB2B sales experienceExperience in construction projects related to branding, signage, resets and new construction for retail, c-stores and other verticalsExperience with Jobscope, Taskray, SharePoint, Smartsheet or other project management softwareExperience with commercial construction preferred in areas such as signage, branding, ACM panels, canopies, drive thru systems, cladding, etc. supporting a variety of verticals such as retail, QSR, hospitality, banking, automotive, petroleum, corporate, education and other commercial verticals requiring branding standardsPreferred permitting background Preferred Project Management Professional certification We are a leading sign company in the U.S. and provide an attractive benefits package: Health & Wellbeing BenefitsPaid Time Off401(k) Plan with Company Match Leading Edge Tools & TechnologyYMCA Health & Fitness MembershipEducation & Advancement OpportunitiesIncentive ProgramsCharitable Contributions MatchPaid Parental LeaveProfit SharingAnd More!
