Furniture Delivery and Assembly Contractor Teams-
Job Type: Contract (1099)
Settlements: potential to earn 170K-225K per year dependent upon volume, location, and customer service abilities. Settlements process weekly.
AIT Home Delivery offers the ultimate level of customer care for the final delivery, assembly and/or repair of consumer goods.
Our dedicated teams of contractors offer fast and reliable home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers.
Responsibilities
We are looking for the following:
ā¢ 26' Box Truck owner operator teams to run furniture route Tuesday-Saturday for a well know Discount Furniture Retailer
ā¢ In home assembly (white glove) is included with most stops. Assembly ranges from putting legs on couches to building beds and shelving units
ā¢ 1-3 years experience with furniture delivery/assembly or related work preferred
Qualifications
If you meet the following requirements, we want you to join our contractor team!
ā¢ Must have a 26' box truck. Lift gate required
ā¢ Must have a reliable helper. Two-man teams required.
ā¢ Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
ā¢ Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov
ā¢ Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
ā¢ DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
ā¢ Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
ā¢ Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
ā¢ MVR are performed for all driving contractors
ā¢ You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.
