About the position The Sifting Services Analyst / Paralegal role at LegalSifter involves utilizing artificial intelligence and software to extract data from client contracts. The position is focused on improving contract management processes and supporting the company's mission to provide affordable legal services. The analyst will work closely with the Sifting Services team to sift metadata from contracts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in contract operations. Responsibilities • Learn all aspects of the 'after you sign' business, artificial intelligence, software, and company culture. • Sift metadata from client contracts using AI-enabled software. • Organize opportunities for multiple client engagements for the LegalSifter Organize Concierge service. • Extract simple contract concepts such as titles, party names, and governing law. • Adapt to changing priorities and assignments as directed by the VP, Sifting Services. • Split PDF documents as needed. • Quality check the work of other team members. • Suggest process improvements to the Sifting Services Leadership Team. • Train other team members as required. Requirements • Minimum education of an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or Paralegal certification. • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Strong reading comprehension, communication, and typing skills. • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects. • Familiarity with LegalTech solutions is strongly desired. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrated ability to learn and sift advanced legal concepts such as limitation of liability and intellectual property. • Experience in a fast-paced environment and willingness to adopt new technologies.
