Short-Term Rental Property Manager (ZR_25005_JOB)

This is a remote position.Schedule:Flexible, approx 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day. Work between CA (Pacific Standard Time) and TX (Central Standard Time) which has a 2-hour time difference between. Therefore, approx 10am-2pm CT would be ideal to serve both time zones.Step into a dynamic virtual assistant role where you'll be instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of real estate investments and renovation projects. This position offers unique exposure to multiple aspects of real estate management, from coordinating short-term rental operations to overseeing long-term tenant relationships and supporting property renovation initiatives. You'll work directly with the business owner while utilizing modern property management platforms and technologies. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your real estate management expertise while working flexibly from your home office.We're looking for someone who is: ✔ Tech-savvy ✔ Detail-oriented ✔ A quick and accurate executor of instructions ✔ Compassionate, positive, and friendly ✔ A proactive problem-solver ✔ Able to work independently with minimal supervision ✔ Trustworthy and dependable ✔ Equipped with excellent written and verbal communication skillsResponsibilitiesProperty Management & Guest RelationsOversee day-to-day property operations for short- and long-term rentals (Airbnb, STRs)Manage cleaning schedules and coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teamsPerform virtual property inspections and quality checksHandle all guest communications: inquiries, check-in/out, and issue resolutionManage bookings, cancelations, and optimize calendar usageEnsure 5-star guest experiences from inquiry to checkoutRenovation & Project CoordinationAssist in planning and overseeing renovation or repair projectsCommunicate with vendors, contractors, and suppliersMaintain project timelines, budgets, and progress trackingAdministrative Support & MarketingMaintain and update property documentation and recordsAssist with rental agreements, background checks, and tenant onboardingPrepare and manage invoices, rent collection, and track expensesSupport social media scheduling and content creation (Canva proficiency required)Create and optimize rental listings to drive bookings and visibilityRequirementsProven experience as a Property Management Assistant or in a similar roleStrong grasp of property management and real estate principlesExperience as a Property Manager, Project Manager (especially in construction), or Airbnb Co-host highly preferredDesign & Content Creation – Canva proficiency is a mustSocial Media Management & SchedulingFamiliarity with tools like Pricelabs.co a big plusUnderstanding of financial tasks – budgeting, invoicing, rent collectionExperience with remote tools and property management platformsKnowledge of CA or TX Association of Realtors contracts is a huge bonusPrior use of property management softwareFamiliarity with real estate legal requirements and leasing complianceAirbnb/STR guest experience managementIndependent Contractor PerksPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringSteady freelance jobZR_25005_JOBOriginally posted on Himalayas
