Shopify Ecommerce SpecialistRole SummaryBeauty by Earth is looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Specialist to own day-to-day Shopify execution and conversion performance across our DTC storefront.This role is not theoretical or advisory. You will be in the store daily — managing apps and integrations, maintaining site health, building and optimizing PDPs, launching upsells, and continuously improving conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), and revenue per visitor.You’ll work closely with Growth, Retention, Creative, Ops, and CX, but this role owns execution. If something breaks, converts poorly, or leaves money on the table — it’s yours to fix.Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Store OperationsOwn day-to-day Shopify execution: products, collections, pricing, promos, navigation, content updates, and QAMaintain a clean, stable, mobile-first storefront with minimal frictionProactively identify and resolve site issues before customers feel themApps, Integrations & MaintenanceManage and maintain our Shopify app ecosystemTroubleshoot integration issues and reduce app bloatEnsure integrations are functioning correctly across checkout, post-purchase, subscriptions, CX, etc.CRO & Performance OptimizationIdentify funnel drop-offs from PDP → cart → checkoutImplement CRO improvements focused on:Conversion rate (CVR)Average order value (AOV)Revenue per visitorUse tools like Microsoft Clarity to analyze behavior and inform changesContinuously test, refine, and improvePDP Creation & OptimizationBuild and optimize PDPs with strong product storytelling, trust signals, and clean UXImprove layout, copy placement, imagery flow, reviews, FAQs, and conversion elementsPartner with Creative and Growth to turn insights into live improvementsUpsells, Bundles & TestingCreate and optimize:PDP upsellsCart and checkout upsellsPost-purchase offersBundles and cross-sell flowsRun A/B tests, track results, and iterate based on performanceInventory & Order ManagementMonitor inventory levels and product availabilityCoordinate with Operations and Customer Service to resolve order, fulfillment, or stock issues.Identify and flag inventory risks that could impact conversions or customer service.                     Reporting & InsightsTrack and report on key ecommerce KPIs:CVRAOVRevenue per visitorShare insights, learnings, and recommended next actions — not just data dumpsWhat We’re Looking ForA native to Shopify Plus Eco System, know tools, metafields, and systems inside out.1-2 years minimum experience managing live Ecommerce storefrontsStrong CRO instincts with comfort using data to drive decisionsExperience working with ecommerce apps, integrations, and troubleshooting issuesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-drivenCurious, self-motivated, and constantly learningStrong written and spoken EnglishComfortable working cross-functionally with speed and accountabilityWhat success looks like:A stable, fast, and high-converting Shopify store optimized for desktop and mobileHigh CVR, AOV, and Revenue per visitorStrong PDPs that convert and strategic upsell/cross-sell plansFull ownership of the channel.This role is ideal for someone who:Likes owning outcomes, not just tasksEnjoys fixing things, improving systems, and squeezing more performance out of existing trafficWants to grow as an ecommerce operatorRole DetailsFull-timeFully RemoteCST working hours overlap requiredNo freelance or contract-only arrangementsAbout Beauty by Earth:Beauty by Earth is a clean, high-performing skincare brand on a mission to help people look and feel their best—without compromise.
