Shopify Developer Needed - Code Tweaks + Design Refinement (Homepage, Product Pages, Checkout)
Overview We’re looking for an experienced Shopify developer to help refine an existing store through custom changes that are currently theme limited. We already have clear examples of the layouts, structure, and UX we want, but our current theme has limitations. This project requires custom Liquid/CSS work to achieve those designs cleanly and correctly. This is not a full redesign. The foundation is in place. We need a developer who can work within an existing theme and extend it through code. Scope of Work Homepage • Custom code tweaks to layout, spacing, and section behavior • Improve hierarchy and flow for clarity and conversion • Adjust or rebuild sections where the theme is limiting execution • Mobile optimization refinements • Design consulting on what to simplify or remove Product Pages • Custom layout improvements beyond theme defaults • Cleaner presentation of descriptions, features, and social proof • Better content hierarchy and UX • Consistency across multiple product types • Design input on trust elements and conversion flow Checkout Page • Shopify checkout optimization within platform constraints • Improve clarity, trust, and friction reduction • Implement best-practice adjustments where possible What We’re Looking For • Strong experience with Shopify Liquid, CSS, and theme customization • Comfortable writing custom code to overcome theme limitations • Able to translate visual examples into clean Shopify implementations • Solid design instincts (spacing, hierarchy, UX) • Willing to give honest feedback and recommendations • Experience with conversion-focused ecommerce stores Project Details • We will provide examples and references for what we’re trying to achieve • Initial scope covers homepage, product pages, and checkout • Opportunity for ongoing work if it’s a good fit • Budget flexible for the right experience To Apply Please include: 1.
