Shopify Custom App

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Custom App Developer to build, maintain, and optimize bespoke applications that extend the functionality of our e-commerce store. You’ll be responsible for creating seamless integrations and high-performance solutions that solve complex business logic challenges.

### Key Responsibilities

App Development: Design and build custom Shopify apps (Public or Custom) using the Shopify App Bridge and Polaris design system.

API Integration: Connect Shopify with third-party systems (ERPs, CRMs, logistics) via REST and GraphQL Admin APIs.

Back-end Logic: Develop secure server-side logic and manage databases to handle app data and webhooks.

Frontend Excellence: Build intuitive user interfaces that feel native to the Shopify Admin experience.

Performance & Security: Ensure all applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for high-traffic environments.

### Required Skills & Qualifications

The Shopify Stack: Proficient in Liquid, Shopify CLI, and GraphQL/REST APIs.

Languages: Strong experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Ruby on Rails, and modern frontend frameworks (React is preferred).

Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

DevOps: Familiarity with hosting platforms like Heroku, AWS, or Fly.io.

Webhooks: Deep understanding of managing asynchronous events and Shopify webhooks.

### Preferred Experience

Experience with Remix (the current Shopify recommended framework).

Knowledge of Hydrogen and Oxygen for headless commerce.

A portfolio of published apps on the Shopify App Store.
