Excellent customer service and efficient store operations are dependent on the Shop Assistant at Goodwill, who plays a key role in meeting these objectives. Responsibilities include assisting customers in making purchases, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring the store is well-maintained and orderly.
Responsibilities of Shop Assistant:
ā¢ Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries or locating items.
ā¢ Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
ā¢ Store Clerk major duties include maintaining cleanliness of sales floor, receiving incoming donations and issuing receipts, greet and assist donors/customers
ā¢ Cashier duties include ringing up all sales transactions, operating cash register, greeting and assisting customers/donors.
