Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver for Shipt, a leading provider of personalized shopping and delivery services across the United States. Job Description:
Being a Shipt Delivery Driver is about more than just deliveries. It’s about connecting with customers and ensuring their orders are delivered with care and efficiency, providing an unmatched personal experience. Your role as a Shipt Delivery Driver will include picking up orders from various store locations and delivering them directly to the customers’ homes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Promptly and carefully sort, handle, load, and deliver merchandise.
– Use mobile delivery applications to interact with customers, manage delivery progress, and solve order issues.
– Adjust to all types of environments and weather as you navigate from store to home carrying customer’s groceries.
– Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, the sales team, and customer support.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
– Consent to a background check.
– Reliable vehicle (Model year 2000 or newer).
– Ability to lift up to 40lbs without assistance.
Experience:
– Previous delivery driver experience is a plus but not required.
– Excellent customer service skills, a go-getter attitude, and the ability to be courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
