Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Summary:
The main responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently load and unload freight, while also sorting it according to the purchase order (PO) and SKU. The individual will use a radio frequency (RF) gun to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores, scan boxes, open cases, and place them on the correct conveyor for sorting. They will also pack single and... multiple customer orders and put the correct shipping labels onto packages before placing them on the right conveyor for shipment. Furthermore, they will induct apparel and footwear onto the tilt trays and pack products sorted by the tilt trays for shipment to stores. The applicants must be at least 18 years old and the pay rate is $14.94 per hour. Full-time hours are available, with the first shift being from Monday to Friday, covering the morning to afternoon hours, and the second shift being from Sunday to Thursday, covering afternoon to evening hours. Additionally, weekend shifts require 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Communicates any concerns to the relevant parties, including the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
Follows the prescribed procedures and protocols as evidenced during the initial and periodic training periods.
