The primary responsibility of a Shell Crew Member is to provide a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer. As a Crew Member, you will transact customer items, balance cash drawers, process exchanges and refunds, and assist in stocking merchandise. Responsibilities
ย Execute a Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for every customer
ย Accurately transact customer items for checkout on POS units and all acceptable methods of payment
ย Transact beer purchases in accordance with all state alcoholic beverage laws
ย Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
ย Process exchanges and refunds per company policy
ย Accurately settle shift Pay Point reports
ย Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
ย Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise, and marking labels
ย Serve as the first responder to customer complaints
ย Train new Crew Members
ย Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
ย Must be flexible and able to work weekends, holidays, and storeยs busiest days
ย Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
ย Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly
ย Attain mastery knowledge of P.O.S. functions
ย Basic math skills
ย Able to function in a fast-paced work environment
ย Must be able to stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side, and able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
ย Perform cleaning and light maintenance with prescribed chemicals
ย High School Diploma or GED preferred
ย Relevant Cashier experience is preferred
