Services Sales Consultant

About the RoleThe Services Sales Consultant plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by articulating the value of Hyland's services to prospective and existing customers. This role works closely with sales, services delivery, legal, and product teams to develop and contract tailored professional services offerings that address customer needs, drive business outcomes, and deliver bookings growth.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's what you'll do.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success, and services delivery teams to proactively identify and qualify new services opportunities.
Lead discovery sessions to understand business challenges, technology landscapes, and services requirements.
Develop and present customized services proposals that align with customer needs and business outcomes, accurately reflecting project approach and level of effort.
Represent the services approach in sales meetings and support the sales team in responding to RFPs and services-related questions.
Negotiate business terms of contracts, collaborate with legal, and manage the contract signature process.
Operate as a trusted advisor to customers and mentor team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and market trends.
Role Essentials
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in pre-sales, sales engineering, solution consulting, or professional services within a technology or consulting company
Experience working with Hyland products and their application to solve customer business challenges
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and performance objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage and interact at the executive level
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Willingness to travel up to 25% as required

Knowledge or experience in one of the industries that utilizes Hyland products
Experience in sales prospecting, lead qualification, or opportunity development
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across functional areas
