About the position The Services Coordinator at EDGE Teen Center is a part-time role focused on organizing and managing programs aimed at empowering high school-age teenagers. This position involves overseeing logistics, communication, and collaboration with a creative team to ensure the successful execution of various initiatives that positively impact the lives of teens. Responsibilities • Coordinate and manage program schedules, events, and activities, ensuring all logistics are accounted for and well-documented. • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, partners, and stakeholders through email, phone, and other platforms. • Create and maintain organized digital files and records using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, etc.). • Collaborate with a creative team to translate vision and ideas into actionable plans, providing structure and guidance. • Develop and distribute detailed timelines, plans, and updates to keep all stakeholders aligned. • Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting logistical challenges as they arise. • Cultivate a patient and collaborative approach to support team members with varying working styles. Requirements • 1-2 years of administrative experience or experience in detail-oriented work on a small team. • Proven experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably in a non-profit or youth-focused organization. • Independent decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Strong proficiency in Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Calendar. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to collaborate with a team of visionaries while maintaining focus on actionable outcomes. • Patience, adaptability, and a sense of humor when working with diverse teams and big ideas. • A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of teenagers.
