ServiceNow ITOM Architect/Engineer /Remote ( Brooklyn, NY),12 Months Contract

Location: Brooklyn NY
Remote Position / NEEDS TO COME IN FOR MEETINGS WHEN REQUIRED
Engagement: 1 YEAR
Start Date: Immediate
1. Expert in ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, CSDM, CMDB, Service Mapping, Service Graph Connectors.
2. Expert in ServiceNow CMDB Architecture and CSDM modeling.
3. Communication Skills:
ā¢ Superb communication skills, both verbal and written using diagrams and flowcharts to translate technically complex concepts into easy-to-understand business value statements and procedures.
4. Engagement With Client:
ā¢ Primary contact for working with process owners, business users, and vendors.
ā¢ Hands-on experience in scripting and coding ITOM solutions, namely Discovery, Service Mapping and Orchestration.
5. EXPERIENCE:
ā¢ Experience with Python, PowerShell scripting, and/or other automation programming.
ā¢ Experience designing and developing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems including use of ServiceNow's Integration Hub, and/or custom APIs.
ā¢ Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping.
ā¢ Ability to analyze existing CIs, their relationships with other CIs, and effectively map them for the success of ITSM processes like Incident, Change, and Problem, Application Portfolio, and Security Vulnerability management.
ā¢ Experience with configuring/developing Discovery probes, sensors and / or patterns to ensure high data accuracy and integrity of our CMDB.
ā¢ Experience with improving Discovery performance and coverage and building effective dashboards for senior leaders, service owners and executives to show accurate and up to date results of our CMDB health.
ā¢ Expert knowledge of third-party integrations with ServiceNow, Discovery probes, sensors and patterns, Service Mapping configurations and Event management rules for correlation of events and alerts coming from monitoring tools.
