One of our client is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator @ REMOTE US Please find below the details of the position. ServiceNow Administrator- REMOTE Contract W2 Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., instance health checks, scheduled jobs, table cleanups). • Configure and maintain forms, lists, and fields using ServiceNow Studio or UI. • Monitor and manage performance, security, and logs of the instance. • Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and access controls (ACLs). • Support clone operations, instance upgrades, and patch management.1 • Troubleshoot platform issues and work with ServiceNow support when needed. • Ensure data integrity, perform data imports, and manage Cl records in CMDB. • Implement and maintain catalog items, workflows, and business rules. Responsibilities of System Administrators: Business analyst: Acts as a liaison between the business and the platform team, capturing requirements and ensuring stakeholder needs are met. Business Process Architect: The Business Process Architect is a consultant with a strong automation and workflow background who supports innovation by working with stakeholders to understand business processes, with the goal of digitizing and automating legacy processes. Configuration Management Database (CMDB): Maintains data dictionary-owns data model for the platform, this role is often performed by the platform architect and platform administrators. Data manager: Oversees the configuration management database (CMDB), ensuring data accuracy and governance for the platform. Developer: Responsible and owns most configuration work in the platform. Integration Expert: Oversees the implementation and maintenance of platform integrations IT risk and compliance lead/information security: An individual or group that makes sure the organization's security protocols and best practices are followed within the Snow Platform Platform administrator: Manages day-to-day platform administration, ensuring stability and usability across environments. Platform architect: Provides technical leadership, documents platform design, and ensures alignment with business strategy. Skill Details ServiceNow Knowledge Familiarity with core module, (e.g., Incident, Change, CMDB, Catalog). Scripting Basic understanding of JavaScript and Glide API for scripts and rule ITSM Concepts Understanding of ITIL practice, and how they are applied in ServiceNow. System Admin Tools Use of update sets, import sets, ACLs,. scheduled jobs, and MID Servers. Problem Solving Strong troubleshooting skills for both platform and business logic issue,. Upgrades/Clones Ability to prepare, test, and validate during system clones and upgrades. Communication Work closely with developers, architects, and business users. Certifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is highly recommended.
