Service Technician

The Service Technician will manage end-to-end workshop and field service activities, focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and delivering exceptional service for critical pump systems while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.ResponsibilitiesConduct inspection, fault analysis, warranty qualification, repair, and performance testing of returned pumps in the workshop and at customer sitesRegister customer information, perform risk assessments, and clean pumps according to EHS sanitary requirements upon receivalProcess warranty claims in FAS, report product quality issues in QIP, and prepare quotations for non-warranty repairsDeliver professional repair reports to customers, coordinate packing and shipping of completed units, and handle merchant returns and credit processingPerform regular workshop maintenance including calibration and upgrade of equipment and tools, and conduct workplace safety inspectionsMaintain strong relationships with customers, service partners, and internal stakeholders while communicating Safety, Health, and Environment mattersSkillsA bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline (mechanical, electrical, or related field)A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a service, repair, or workshop environmentExperience servicing Pumps, motors, controls, or have rotating equipment experienceProficiency with SAP, MS Word, and MS ExcelDetail-oriented technical problem solver with strong customer service skillsCommitment to safetyAbility to work independently in a remote, travel-heavy roleKnowledge of warranty claim processes and quality improvement reportingFamiliarity with health & safety regulations and risk assessment procedures in a workshop or field service settingBenefitsPaid time offPaid holidaysMerit increasesBonusesEmployee stock purchase programsFlexible hoursHome working opportunitiesParental supportAnnual bonusesHealth insuranceStrong focus on well-being activitiesThree days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your communityAccess to on-demand training and learning sessionsCarefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunitiesCompany OverviewWe’re a global leader in water solutions.
