As a service technician, you are responsible for assessing, diagnosing and performing specified maintenance and repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
Technician Duties include but are not limited to:
? Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance systems
? Perform thorough check of customers car and referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
? Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management
? Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
? Stay current in the latest diagnostic methods and service techniques across a number of brands
? Participate in service training activities; attend factory-sponsored training classes.
? Communicate regularly with service advisor/dispatcher to confirm repair order information and diagnostic information.
? Follow established safety protocols and company policies
? Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
? Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
? Demonstrate ethical business practices in all interactions to uphold Sawgrass Fords good image
Job Requirements include but are not limited to:
? Service shop experience preferred
? Positive attitude and a desire to learn
? Manual dexterity and physical stamina
? Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. unassisted
? Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
? Knowledgeable with safe and correct repairs needed for vehicles
? Ability to communicate with managers and peers
? Ability to maintain composure under pressure
? High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
? Valid driver's license with Clean driving record
? Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
