Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SEO Specialist with a strong focus on Content Optimization to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the organic search performance of a diverse range of clients, working within a flexible and supportive environment. As an SEO Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and executing content-centric SEO strategies designed to improve search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and enhance online visibility. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for client content strategies.
• Perform detailed on-page SEO audits and implement optimizations for website content, including meta tags, headings, content structure, and internal linking.
• Collaborate with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content outlines, ensuring all new content is optimized from conception.
• Analyze competitor content and SEO strategies to identify opportunities and inform our tactical approach.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
• Identify technical SEO issues related to content (e.g., crawlability, indexability) and work with development teams for resolution.
• Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices.
• Develop and implement content refresh strategies for existing client content to improve rankings and relevance.
• Provide clear, actionable SEO recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills
• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a strong focus on content optimization (3+ years).
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
• Strong understanding of keyword research methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Solid understanding of on-page and technical SEO principles.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certification.
• Experience with international SEO.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to SEO.
• Experience working in an agency environment.
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies.
