The SEO Manager is a master of all things Google with a technical mindset and an understanding of how Organic Search plays with the rest of the marketing mix. The client-facing role works directly with Client teams to deliver best-in-class SEO that drives results. This person will lead SEO efforts and collaborate extensively with The Director of SEO and Mike King to actively contribute to SEO research to develop new strategies and with the SEO community. This role may be hybrid or remote. Salary range: $80,000-$95,000.What You'll DoProactively identify SEO opportunities and generate data-driven insightsPerform comprehensive Site Audits and prioritize recommendationsPerform in-depth log file analysisImprove conversion of Organic Search trafficOwn performance monitoring reports and KPIsConfigure SEO tools for automated trackingWork with Content Strategy to determine content and link building opportunities for client sitesWork with Analysts to perform Persona-Driven Keyword ResearchPerform competitive analysis to identify actionable insightsPresent deliverables and results to clientsWork with Development and Content Creation teams to implement SEO processesReview algorithm updates to develop thought leadership contentContribute to new business through iPullRank inbound marketing efforts and research for new business pitchesRequirementsMinimum 5 years of search engine optimization experiencePossess thorough, up-to-date knowledge of search engine ranking factors and maintains current SEO practicesPrevious client-facing experienceProficiency with HTML, CSS requiredWorking knowledge of JavaScript and relevant frameworks such as React, and Angular preferredProficiency with Analytics packages and Google Search ConsoleFamiliar with industry-standard SEO softwareAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications: Excel and PowerPoint or Sheets and SlidesStrong analytical mindset and skills, excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExceptionally clear oral and written communication skillsHigh level of initiative and work well in a team environmentExperience working in an agency environment or other role managing multiple competing projects and deadlinesBenefitsCompetitive salaries commensurate with experience100% Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance3 weeks of vacationPaid sick days and holidaysOriginally posted on Himalayas
