ELEKS Legal Department is looking for Senior/Middle Legal Counsel in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv). REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in law5+ years of experience in law3+ years of hands-on experience with client-facing agreements in various international business transactionsStrong working knowledge of IP and IT lawExperience with privacy law (e.g. providing legal advice, drafting data privacy notices, policies, executing GDPR compliance projects)Advanced level of EnglishOutstanding analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong coordination skills WOULD BE A PLUS Privacy certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT)Work experience at international companiesProfessional certifications and completion of specialized courses RESPONSIBILITIES Drafting, reviewing, amending, and negotiating a broad range of client-facing and other commercial agreements (including NDA, SOW, MSA, DPA, etc.)Providing opinions and summaries on matters of IP, contract, commercial, corporate, data privacy lawParticipating in and leading complex legal projectsConducting Legal research and analysisResolving a diverse range of law-related tasksMonitoring developments in global privacy regulations and supporting implementation of compliance strategiesSupport the development and implementation of internal policies and rules related to the use of AI tools, including advising on legal, ethical, and compliance issues.
