We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Brown and Caldwell, a leading environmental engineering and construction services firm. About the Role:
In this technical role, you will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, calculations, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), specifications, and technical reports for various municipal water and wastewater projects. You will lead design tasks, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with our team of subject matter experts to deliver exceptional results. With a focus on Brown and Caldwell's western business region, you will have the opportunity to work on local and national projects, applying your skills and expertise to drive success.
Responsibilities:

Execute engineering work on water and environmental projects, including wastewater treatment, water treatment, advanced treatment, and pumping and conveyance
Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, P&IDs, calculations, technical reports, and equipment selection for a variety of water or wastewater projects
Lead design tasks and mentor less experienced engineers
Perform process mechanical facility lead role (depending on experience)
Collaborate with drafters, designers, and other disciplines to complete construction documents
Assist or lead the preparation and writing of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
Perform office services during construction, including submittal reviews and responses to requests for information

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; M.S. degree preferred
P.E. certification/registration in Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil in good standing, or ability to obtain in the near future
Minimum 5 years of similar experience required; 6 to 10 years of increasing responsibility in related experience preferred
Strong aptitude for researching and solving technical problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and engineering software (e.g., AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, ProjectWise Explorer)

Competitive salary range: $91,000 - $124,000 (depending on location and experience)
