Senior Virtual Tax Advisor, Seasonal
About the Role
Join a fast-growing centralized team of tax advisors providing virtual tax preparation and review services to clients who’ve begun their individual tax returns using H&R Block’s do-it-yourself program. The Senior Virtual Tax Advisor both prepares client’s returns and supports Virtual Tax Advisors with their client’s returns to ensure an outstanding client experience.
Day to day, you’ll…
Assist with the training and support of Virtual Tax Advisors
Download and complete client tax returns through a virtual platform
Communicate with clients through a variety of mediums, including telephone, secure message and video
Analyze tax information provided by clients and deliver a timely and high-quality client experience
Demonstrate tax expertise by completing accurate returns and showing dedication to impeccable client service by providing timely and helpful responses to client inquiry
Research complex federal and state tax issues to ensure the client’s tax returns are accurate and complete before filing
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of prior progressive tax preparation experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Masters - Accounting
Masters - Finance
Work Experience:
Enrolled Agent, Certified Public Accountant or Attorney status (credentials regulated under Circular 230)
Enrolled Agent, Attorney, or CPA
Knowledge of complex tax situations (foreign, rentals, business)
Experience using AI tools

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
Pay Range
$21.59 - $32.40/Hr.
