Senior UX/UI Designer (Fully Remote)

Job description About us: Socious is a talent marketplace connecting people to projects with purpose. We started Socious in July 2021, so as an early employee you’ll be pivotal in shaping the direction of the company. We recently received funding and we are now expanding our design team! What you’ll be doing: • Support the team in shaping the delivery and forward-looking UI direction for Socious’s app, ensuring it’s in line with our brand strategy • Demonstrate a knowledge and desire to investigate, innovate and develop emerging design, UI and technology trends • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ranging from Engineers to Product Owners or senior management • Help to maintain an efficient design delivery process, through regular clear communication with delivery teams and consistently delivering to schedule • Develop and maintain our Design System to ensure design consistency • Strong experience with delivering UX/UI work as part of a multi-functional team in an agile environment • A desire to further your knowledge of UX by being involved in activities such as heuristic reviews, co-creation workshops, analytics, and IA • Support our marketing team by creating digital assets for creative campaigns Qualifications: • A strong passion for social/environmental impact (previous experience with impact organizations is an asset) • 5+ years of work experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role (web and mobile apps) • Strong working knowledge of Figma and Design System • Ideally experience in as many of the following as possible: Adobe products, usability testing, facilitating workshops, A/B testing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and taking a collaborative approach to design • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders • Good time-management skills • A portfolio of projects and use cases What we offer: • Diverse, driven, and high-performing colleagues • A supportive, trusting and transparent working environment • Work-life balance with flexible hours and leave (unlimited paid leave) • A competitive salary package: USD 50k - 80k (JPY 7.2M - 11.5M) per year + tokens (similar to stock options) • Japan work visa sponsorship (if you prefer to relocate in Japan) Apply tot his job
