This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a US Accountant - REMOTE. The US Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial records within the Finance Department. In this position, you will manage a wide range of accounting responsibilities including general ledger management and financial statement preparation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role is essential for driving continuous improvement in financial processes and supporting the company's fiscal health.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Prepare monthly corporate credit liquidation reports.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years in U.S. Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to ethical practices and regulatory compliance.

Nice-to-haves
