Senior Travel Agent
Are you passionate about travel and love helping others plan their dream getaways? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Travel Agent to join our growing team! At The Holiday Travel Agent, Inc., we believe that every journey should be unforgettable. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating personalized travel experiences for our clients. If you’re a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a knack for organization, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will:
• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
• Research and recommend suitable destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
• Book flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and other travel services.
• Prepare detailed itineraries and travel documents.
• Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa requirements, and insurance options.
• Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new destinations, and travel promotions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and travel suppliers.
What we’re looking for:
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar customer service role within the travel industry.
• Proven knowledge of global geography, popular travel destinations, and travel trends.
• Familiarity with travel booking software and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is a plus (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Travel agent certifications preferred but not required.
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus but not required.
