Senior Technical Project Manager - Operational Design & Service Enablement

About the position

Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of 6-8 high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope and budget.
• Collaborating closely with product teams throughout the product development lifecycle, providing input on requirements and development.
• Leveraging Agile and Project Management best practices to drive efficient project execution.
• Partnering effectively with cross-functional teams across Verizon Business Group (VBG), including Operations, Service Delivery, IT, and external vendors.
• Overseeing all project phases, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
• Providing clear and concise project updates to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
• Six or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience leading and working with cross functional teams
• Experience in leading meetings (calls/Webex/in-person), stating project goals and objectives, and driving team members to meet those goals throughout the project lifecycle
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strategic planning capability
• Experience with Google Drive, MS Word, MS PPT, MS Project and MS Excel skills
• Willingness to travel

Nice-to-haves
• A degree
• Eight or more years of project management experience, especially in support of a Product Development organization
• PMP certification and/or VLSS
• Experience in Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations, especially with Telecommunications networks (ie. Wireless - 4G/5G, Advance Communications, Network and Security)
• Technical and project leadership knowledge experience
• Ability to proactively identify needs and the willingness to take action
• Assertiveness and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
