Overview
Azure Specialized Compute drives the hardware roadmap, software and services that enable our users to run technical computing workloads in Azure - from batch workloads to Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) to traditional High Performance Compute (HPC) simulations to remote visualization. We are responsible for providing the most scalable general-purpose systems as well as the most powerful GPU-accelerated systems for our end customers in their quest for finding answers to some of the most difficult questions in science and industry.

Azure Specialized Compute organization is looking for a dedicated and talented individual to be part of our customer-facing Technical Program Management team. This role will be responsible for supporting some of our most important customers as they embark on their cloud journey.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with key customers and partners to fuel the growth of the Specialized Azure platform.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a strong Senior Technical Program Manager to drive highly impactful cross-organization initiatives around end to end experiences spanning multiple Azure products and services. This is a key role with high impact in Azure.
A successful candidate would be a self-starter with proven track record of managing complex program/project to successful completion.
This individual should be willing and able to mentor junior members of the team and provide support to our Product Management team.
Candidate must be coachable and a team player.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
