Senior Tax Consultant
Tatum by Randstad is working with a client based in Los Angeles that is looking to bring on a Tax Consultant for a long term contract opportunity. The company is on a hybrid schedule and the consultant can be remote. Our client is in the technology industry and is looking for someone to take on the following duties:
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for heading up the preparation and review of federal and state tax provisions
• Manage the U.S. tax compliance cycle
• Responsible for handling the 1099 reporting and sales tax filings
• Serve as the main point of contact for the company’s outsourced tax firm
• Utilize international tax experience to identify risks and determine when to escalate complex issues to leadership
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
• CPA or MST is desired
• Prior experience in public accounting is a plus
• 5+ years of Provision and compliance experience is required
• International tax experience is desired
• Prior experience handling partnership tax is required
