Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses (1040, 1065, 1120, etc.)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and deliver high-quality services
Experience with IRS audit defense and tax planning strategies
Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality tax services.
Identify and mitigate tax risks through careful planning and analysis.
Coordinate and communicate with client personnel to gather tax information and resolve tax-related issues.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
Assist with IRS audit defense, including preparing responses and creating schedules.
Supervise and mentor junior members of the tax team (if needed).
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field; Masters in Taxation or CPA certification is highly preferred.
Experience with tax returns for individuals and businesses (1040, 1065, 1120, etc.).
3+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.

Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
Education Requirements Credential Category
Masters in Taxation or CPA certification is preferred.
Experience Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in public accounting focused on tax.
