Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer who can work closely with customers to translate business needs into impactful Tableau dashboards and analytical solutions. The role requires strong client-handling and communication skills, along with deep Tableau expertise, and ownership of end-to-end BI delivery from requirement gathering to deployment and user adoption.
Primary Skills : Tableau
Secondary Skills : SQL Server
Role Responsibility :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define metrics, and design analytical dashboards aligned to business goals.
- Develop, test, and deploy interactive reports and visualizations using BI tools.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports by working closely with data engineering and analytics teams.
- Create and maintain data models, calculations, and KPIs to support reporting needs.
- Optimize dashboards and queries for performance and scalability.
- Implement best practices in visualization design, including layout, interactivity, and storytelling.
- Collaborate in code reviews, documentation, and version control of BI assets.
- Support self-service BI adoption by building reusable templates, data sets, and guiding end users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, data quality, or performance.
- Stay current with new features, visualization trends, and BI advancements to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
Additional Requirement :
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and analytical views using Tableau Desktop.
- Create advanced calculated fields, parameters, level-of-detail (LOD) expressions, and interactive features.
- Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Publish and manage content on Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud, including permissions and extracts.
