Senior Systems Engineer

Summary: The Senior Systems Engineer leads the design system architecture, implementation, and management of the integrated IT/ cyber-security integrated systems. JOB REQUIREMENTSExperience: Ten years of experience in an IT related position or have ten years of experience in an IT- Operations or ManagementEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related subject matter area from an accredited college or university Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:Current drivers’ licenseProof of U.S. citizenshipThis position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and subsequent reinvestigations may be required.Application development experience with .NET, SQL, and/or Microsoft SharePoint Special knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Ability to oversee and organization’s IT Systems, manage and lead staff including daily operational needs, project planning, technology updates, and management briefingsAbility to plan, design, develop, evaluate, test, and integrate and organization’s systems IT infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.Ability to define system and product requirements to ensure efficient planning and execution of the IT systemsAbility to define system and product requirements to ensure efficient planning and execution of the IT Systems.Ability to troubleshoot and remediate hardware and software issuesKnowledge of Microsoft, WMware, Storage, NIST, FISMA, and Cisco Technologies All qualifications, education, and experience listed in the job description must be able to be demonstrated at an appropriate level for the position through evaluation of the resume, testing, and an interview process as appropriate.
